Birthdays birthdays!

Having our children 3 days apart proved to be a busy week for the Rogers family. Between the school/daycare party, the actual BIRTH day celebration and the friends n' family party - we were hopping. Mia turned one so she didn't really know the difference, but I still wanted her to feel special. :)  I'm not sure how long we are going to get away with combining their birthdays, but for now it worked. Just a few stats for the record:

Mia
Weight:  18lbs. 8 oz.
Height:  29 inches
Favorite food: bananas
Favorite drink:  milk :)  -She's completely off the bottle (which was harder for mom than Mia). We do laugh that she chugs her sippy likes its a bottle!

Gavin
Weight:  37.6 lbs
Height:  40.5 inches
Favorite food:  Pizza
Favorite drink: Almond milk or chocolate milk (whenever he can get his hands on some).
Favorite color:  It was green but now its purple.
Favorite movie: Cars

Now that he is 4 he has stopped sucking his blankie at night! YAY GAVIN! It hasn't been easy but he is doing it.

Quick birthday recap. Mia turned 1 on April 24th. I made mini carrot cake muffins for her friends at daycare. We sang to her that evening and when we lit the candle and started singing she burst into tears. She was also petrified of her birthday balloon!! Gavin turned 4 on the 27th. He had cupcakes with his friends at school then we had their party at Recreation Unlimited on Saturday. Luckily we planned an inside party because it rained all morning. Gavin picked a "bug theme" for his birthday. He wanted bugs on his cupcakes so I bought some gummy bugs to decorate the tops. ;)
