One Month Already?

Ms. Mia Grace turned 4 weeks on Sunday. As sleep deprived as I am, I have to admit that it has gone fast. She had her one month check up today and is weighing in at 9lbs. 8 oz., and is 22 inches long. She is 60th percentile for her weight and 85th percentile for her height. We are happy that she is a growing little girl! I'll be even more happy when she's sleeping through the night. :)

She definitely is a more "high maintenance" baby than Gavin was at her age. She's loud and cries a lot, :) but we are so in love with her. Gavin has learned to tune her out, and will talk to her and tell her "its okay sweetie". He loves his baby sissy. He is a great helper!

Mia loves stroller rides and car rides - both of which usually put her to sleep. Mommy and daddy are taking advantage of the sunny days! She likes bath time, but hates getting undressed.

We were so happy to have our friends visit us last weekend - Julie, Andy and lil' Baby Jasper Johnson. They made the trip from Ankeny, IA. The guys had fun enjoying VIP status at qualifying day at the Indy Race track on Saturday, while Julie and I enjoyed some much needed pedicures on Sunday. We were so glad to have them here and so excited to meet Jasper. He is such a cutie and is a great, great baby. Julie texted me the day after they left and informed me that their 2 month old slept thru the night! The longest our little Mia has slept at night is 4hrs. :)

On a side note, Gavin fell at school on Friday and cut his eye. He also got hit with a toy and scratched the bridge and underneath part of his nose. He looked pretty beat up all weekend (as the pictures below will depict). Poor guy.

Gavin loved Baby Jasper!

Great pics - glad you guys enjoyed the visit. I got to meet Jasper a few weeks ago, what a little stud. Mia is lucky to have landed such a handsome lil guy (with a full head of hair I might add!). Mia will be sleeping through the night in no time, I just know it! :)
